Description

The poetic cycle ’Four Quartets’ by T.S. Eliot provided Hans-Jürgen von Bose with the inspiration for his work for oboe and orchestra. The title quotes a line from the first poem in which Eliot takes the everrecurring growth, blooming and wilting of flowers in a garden as a symbol for time interlinking the past, present and future in an eternal cycle.
