A few weeks after the death of Miles Davis, his three most important sidemen amazed audiences worldwide with a pure acoustic set. When looking for a name that would fit inti the wide musical range of this ensemble, World Trio, seemed like the most true and best fitting definition for the synthesis of englishman Holland, american Kevin Eubanks and french Mino Cinelu, their musical heritage and evolution. Indeed the music of the World Trio can not be considered as european or american jazz, but at least as a link between three different cultures. Their very first recording contains nine beautiful originals that sound easy and light but do reflect the state of the art of acoustic Jazz, performed by three true instrumental masters.
