Description

The "Loop Songs" by Bertrand Gröger (Jazzchor Freiburg) are modern choir exercises for all SATB groups. Originally conceived as warm-ups or to loosen up repertoire rehearsals, many songs are also suitable as concert songs.
The 44 compositions, devided into four graded levels of difficulty, offer a versatile practice method for style characteristics in relation to rhythm, harmonics and melodics. By means of "learning by singing", the singers acquire skills in scat syllables, timing and intonation. This collection contains two and a half hours of music and presents a wide range of music genres: Swing, Latin, Afro, Gospel, R&B, Funk, Pop, Rock and World music.
