Christian Josts rein instrumentale Requiem-Trilogie besteht aus "DiesIrae" für Posaune und Orchester, "Pietà" für Trompete und Orchester und "LuxAeterna" für Altsaxophon und Orchester. Es handelt sich nicht um traditionelle mehrsätzige Solokonzerte sondern um durchkomponierte Werke, die jeweils ungefähr im gleichen Tempo bleiben. Jedes der drei Werke kann auch separat aufgeführt werden.
