Following the popularity of the Romantic Piano Anthology series, we now present the Romantic Guitar Anthology! This beautifully presented repertoire book, selected and edited by Jens Franke, is suitable for students of around 2-3 years of playing experience. It includes standard teaching pieces by the 19th Century's leading composer-guitarists Carulli, Giuliani and Sor are presented alongside rarely available works by Jaime Bosch, Johann Kaspar Mertz and Franz Tuček. It also includes original guitar pieces by Berlioz and Paganini.

Useful and extensive teaching notes on each piece are included together with composer biographies and a CD recording of all of the works in the anthology, performed by Jens Franke. It also has an appendix which shows the original manuscipt of one of the pieces, with explanatory text. This is a must-have for all classical guitarists!
