Duddell's Nightswimming subtly gathers its own momentum and direction, moving away from the nocturne - a bow to the band REM - which is suggested in the opening.
Like much of Duddell's music this is playful music which focuses on imaginative interaction between the instruments despite - or maybe because of - its allusions to the twilight hours.
