"Super Wiktor" Award for Penderecki

Polish Wiktory Award TV Academy, which is comprised of the award winners from the last 25 years, granted the golden Super Wiktor statuette for the most outstanding personality to composer Krzysztof Penderecki.

The award will be conferred during the Wiktor and Super Wiktor award gala on 24 October 2011 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

Wiktory awards have been given by the TV Academy since 1985. Outstanding television personalities, those whose personality, knowledge or skills became etched in the memory of viewers, are honoured with the award. The past laureates include the greatest Poles of the last quarter of the century: Lech Wałęsa, John Paul II, and Roman Polański, among others.
