Presteigne Festival 2011

The full programme for the 2011 Presteigne Festival has now been announced. Highlights from the 6 day festival which runs from 20th - 25th August include world premieres of Joe Duddell’s Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis and Huw Watkins’s Concertino for solo violin and string orchestra, both of which were commissioned by the festival.  Also programmed are classics by Tippett and Hindemith along with further chamber music by Huw Watkins.
