German Music Authors' Award 2011 for Hans Werner Henze
The German Music Authors' 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award has been won by Hans Werner Henze. The award, decided 'by authors for authors', has been given by GEMA for the third time. The jury consists of composers and songwriters of both serious and light music. Hans Werner Henze will accept the award personally during a formal presentation at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Berlin on 14 April 2011.
