Heinz Holliger: In Profile at Kings Place, London

From Wednesday 22nd March, Kings Place, one of London's newest concert spaces, will celebrate the music of eminent Swiss composer and oboist Heinz Holliger in a concert series curated by Christopher Richter.

Over four concerts, each with its own descriptive title, Holliger will be joined by a host of virtuoso musicians to explore his art: two concerts intertwine his music with that of his beloved Schumann; 'Darkness and Infinity' looks at the nocturnal tradition; while 'Childhood and Encryptions' reveals his wit and his ingenuity.

On Saturday 26th, Holliger will give a lecture on Alban Berg's Kammerkonzert with music performed by Muriel Cantoreggi (violin), Alexander Lonquich (piano) and musicians from the Royal Academy of Music.

Heinz Holliger: In Profile runs from Wednesday 22nd March until Saturday 26th March at Kings Place London.
