Joe Duddell - Best of Manchester
Joe Duddell, the Mancunian composer and current Reader in Music at Salford University, has been shortlisted and awarded a special commendation by the 2009 Best of Manchester Awards for his work as the curator, orchestrator and conductor of an innovative new project with the Hallé Orchestra and awarding-winning rock band, Elbow. The Best of Manchester Awards focuses on the artists and creators of breaking boundaries and creating innovative audience experiences, not following trends but creating them.
