This month Enjott Schneider's Toccata "Schlafes Bruder" for organ is performed by Christoph Bull at the University of California at Los Angeles and the US Premiere of his Requiem pour Erik Satie is performed by the Glass Farm Ensemble at New York's Baryshnikov Arts Center. UCLA organist and professor of music Christoph Bull performs Toccata "Schlafes Bruder" on Royce Hall's historic Skinner organ as part of the program entitled Organica, a multi-media event showcasing new music alongside traditional French masterpieces and the final installment of UCLA Live's year long Organ Series.

Enjott Schneider has composed for a wide range of genres including orchestra, organ, chamber ensemble, vocal and stage works and he is known as one of the most important German composers of film and television music. (1999) and Das Salome-Prinzip (1983), last produced in Gelsenkirchen in spring 2002, as well as his musical Diana Cry for Love (Görlitz, December 2002).
