The Greatest Masterworks- New Eulenburg Audio+Score Editions Available
In the successful series EULENBURG AUDIO+SCORE appear now three new scores with CD.
“Without exaggeration, I have put my whole soul into this work” – that’s what Tchaikovsky said of his Symphony No. 6. With the “Pathétique” he wanted to sketch a picture of himself. It was premiered nine days before his death in 1893.
The Clarinet Concert in A-major from W. A. Mozart is also one of the composer’s last completed instrumental works. He wrote it in autumn 1791, a few days before he died.
The “Four Seasons” is Vivaldi’s best-known work and figures among the most popular pieces of Baroque Music. It consists of a set of four violin concertos. The concertos may be considered as one of the first examples of programme music.
