How do I subscribe to the newsletter?
Click the menu item 'Newsletter' in the section "News" and give us your e-mail address. Alternatively, you can send us an e-mail and ask to be included in our distribution list.

How do I unsubscribe to the newsletter?
If you receive the newsletter by mistake or no longer wish to receive it, you can unsubscribe to it here at any time. Just send an e-mail to shop@schott-musik.de, key word 'Unsubscribe'.

What do I have to do when I forgot my password?
Follow this link or click the menu item 'Log in' in the horizontal navigation bar and select the function 'Password forgotten'. You are then asked for your e-mail address. After you have entered your e-mail address, we send you an e-mail with a link to a secure page on which you can change your password.

What are the shipping charges and how long does it take to receive the ordered goods?
You can choose between door-to-door delivery and collecting the goods from your shop.

The goods ordered by you usually leave our distribution centre within two working days. The delivery time depends on the country of destination (for further information, see at 'Shipping Terms').
With orders exceeding a value of 50 Euro, we deliver the goods free of charge within Germany.

Do you do door-to-door delivery?
We do door-to-door deliveries, if requested. The ordered goods usually leave our distribution centre within two working days. The delivery time depends on the country of destination.

The goods are dispatched by our distributor mds - music distribution services in Mainz.

Can I collect and pay my ordered goods at a dealer?
Yes, you can collect the goods ordered on-line from one of our partner dealers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Please choose the mode of shipping 'Collection by customer from dealer' on the order page, and the goods you ordered will be sent to the chosen dealer.

Why do I have to choose a dealer? (For customers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
Since we set great store by the collaboration with our competent and efficient partners from the music trade on the spot, even in the sphere of our on-line shop, we ask you to select a dealer at any rate. We will support the dealer chosen by you. That does not mean, however, that you have to collect the ordered goods from him. If requested, we will send your favourite scores, books or CDs directly to your home address.

Can I place my orders by phone or fax too?
It is not possible to place orders by phone or fax. Please make use of the possibility to order the titles on-line. If you have any questions regarding our titles or the ordering process, please do not hesitate to contact us. Just send an e-mail to shop@schott-music.com

How do I delete an article from my shopping basket?
Just click the 'Delete' symbol in the shopping basket next to the title you want to delete, or set the order quantity to 0 and confirm the change by clicking the 'Enter' key.

How do I pay at the Schott shop?
You can pay at our shop either by direct debit from a German bank account or by credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diner Club cards.
The amount in question is debited to your credit card or bank account as soon as the goods leave our distribution centre.
